The fiber-optic inertial navigation system (FOG-INS) integrates high-stability fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG) and quartz accelerometers in a strapdown configuration. Combined with real-time navigation computation and Kalman filtering, the system delivers highly accurate heading, roll, pitch, velocity, and position outputs for naval and defense-grade maritime platforms.


The system supports multiple operational modes:
Autonomous inertial navigation for GPS-denied or signal-compromised scenarios
INS/GNSS integrated navigation for hybrid precision and redundancy
Velocity-compensated navigation for dynamic marine maneuvers
